Etude House 'so lovely' Allover Spray Review

Sparkling Watery Fruity Floral

When I first opened the package, I could smell the scent of the 'allover' spray without opening the bottle.

The spray is advertised as an 'allover spray' so its use is not limited to the body and you can spray it on anything such rooms, fabric, shoes and bags as suggested by the bottle.

Upon spraying some on myself, I found it to be a light fruity floral scent which I thought was quite cute and feminine. I thoroughly enjoyed this scent. While the scent is nice, it had poor longevity and lasted at most an hour to 2 hours on me.

I got if off eBay for $11.45 AUD for 150ml which I thought was good value since I loved the scent.

I would rate it a 7/10 0verall.

Daiso Haul #1 - False eyelashes and accessories!

Ello ello everyone~ Today's post is my most recent Daiso haul~ Daiso is a chain of discount stores where most items are $2.80 with some items that are $3.80, $5.80 and $6.80. Anyways, without further ado, this is my haul!!

I bought a super duper cute eyelash case, eyelash glue and 3 pairs of false eyelashes. These eyelashes are so pretty and cute!! They kind of remind me of Dolly Wink or Diamond Lash eyelashes~

When I bought the eyelash glue, I thought  it would fit nicely in the case but unfortunately, it seems that it was not to be...

I tried to close it but...

Marie Claire - The Parcel Spring 2015 (20th Anniversary Edition) Review

DISCLAIMER:

This box was purchased with my own money, I did not get it for free or any compensation form the company for reviewing this box. The review of this box is simply my honest opinion, nothing more. Thank you.

I was so excited for the 20th Anniversary this month since Marie Claire has been hyping this up like crazy so I decided to order my first box!

Since this is my first box, I don't know what the normal size and weight is but this box seems substinally bigger and heavier than a Bella Box or a Lust Have It Box so I was pleasantly surprised.

The packaging is so pretty!

The contents~

John Frieda Frizz Ease Smooth Start Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner $15.99 each

Seeing the shampoo and conditioner solved the mystery of this quarter's heavy box. Honestly, I find them kind of disappointing since I feel iffy about things containing oil since I have oily hair but I'm going to try them anyways.

Redwin Coconut Balm $5.99

This balm is an organic balm that can be used on lips as well as dry and cracked skin. Firstly, the coconut smell is lovely and summery which I really enjoy. However, I don't really feel like this belongs in a spring box as it's not usually moisturiser season (for me anyways). I would've preferred a light facial moisturiser or SPF or something instead.

St. Tropes Gradual Tan In Shower 200ml for $39.99

I never tan and I doubt I ever will so I have no use for this. I'm disappointed in this product as I feel as it's a bit generic and boring and sadly something not everyone can use.

MOR Rosa Noir Hand and Body Milk $34.95

Another moisturiser type product... As I said before, I'm not really a moisturiser person in spring/summer so as lovely as this smells, I'm saving this for autum/winter.

Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum 30ml for $80

Awww yiss! A serum, one of my loves along with sheet masks. I'm very excited to try out this product although I'm very skeptical of its claims. A serum that detects your skin's needs and address them sounds kind of crazy but I would love so much for it to work!

L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick $21.95

I got the colour Mon Jules, a deep berry shade which I feel would be more of an autumn/winter colour rather than a spring/summer colour. When I think of spring and summer I personally think of peaches and corals rather than deep colours. The colour looks quite pretty but I think I'm going to save it for the colde months.

Estée Lauder Modern Muse Le Rogue EDP 50ml for $120

This perfume smells quite lovely! It's a fruity floral and I think would be a beautiful date night perfume~ I'm very happy to get this and really enjoy it.

Final Thoughts:

Overall I feel some of these products don't really belong in this box. For a first box, I felt kind of disappointed especially with how much they hyped it up. Honestly, I expected more for a 20th Anniversary Box but I will still consider getting another one despite the disappointment I feel.

BeiBaoBao Faux Leather Backpack Review

Ello Ello everyone~ Today I'm going to be reviewing this cute backpack I purchased from Yesstyle a month or two ago. It costed me around $45 dollars when I purchased it as there was a sale on at the time.

Doesn't it kind of remind you of a randoseru backpack (Japanese primary school backpack)?

I have been using this bag on a daily basis for a month or two and I LOVE IT! I've been getting a lot of compliments from friends and family about this bag which is awesome and am considering purchasing a second one in a different colour when it's on sale again!!

This bag is super cute and super durable. I've been using it almost every day (for both university and as a casual bag) and it almost looks as good as new although there are some small scratches on the metal parts of the bag such as the front bits but that is normal wear and tear.

As I mentioned before, I use this wear bag for university and it fits all my heavy textbooks in it without it even showing any signs of heavy wear (like tearing of the seams or the lining inside) except for the leather losing stiffness. Apart from that, the sewing and the quality of the material and metal parts seem high quality and sturdy.

Another thing I like about this bag is that it has a lot of pockets on the inside which is handy for putting things like my phone, some makeup and hand cream in.

My only real complaint about the bag is about the weight of it. Due to the quality of the bag, the faux leather and the metal used to make this bag is quite heavy and as I use if for university which means I carry textbooks in it, it is heavier than other bags.

Overall this is a really good bag and well worth the price even at full price (but as I am cheap, I will wait for a sale before buying another one hehe). I would score it 9 points out of 10 for its quality, price and cuteness.

If you want to buy this bag for yourself, you can get it off:

Ello Ello everyone~

As you know, I'm smile, the blogger behind this blog and I will write about things that are beauty, fashion, lifestyle, gaming, food and anything else that may interest me related~ My hobbies are pretty much the same as the things I will be blogging about and I can be kind of silly at times.

As I will be writing about beauty in the future, for refrence, I have combo/dry skin (I used have oily but I think my skin changed because I didn't drink enough water...) with warm undertones. I'm not sure which Mac shade I am but Missha Perfect Cover in No. 23 is a pretty good match for me and could possibly be a perfect match if it was less grey or pink, a bit more yellow and maybe just a smidge lighter (everything is just off by a bit haha). The most up to date information should be on m blogger profile.

Anyways that's all I've got to post today so until next time!

(My next post will probably be in around a week's time~)

smile like there's no tomorrow~
